Warranty

1. Validity and Coverage of the Warranty

POS Store guarantees its products against manufacturing and workmanship defects for a period of 1 year , starting from the original purchase date shown on the invoice or sales receipt.

  • Warranty Manager: The warranty is managed directly by POS Store for its entire duration.

2. What Does the Warranty Cover?

This warranty covers the repair or, at POS Store's discretion, the replacement of the product or defective parts, provided that the defect is the result of manufacturing or materials and not of external causes or misuse.

  • Covered Components: Applies to the main unit and original accessories included in the package.
  • Service: The warranty includes the labor and parts necessary to correct the covered defect

3. Procedure to Validate the Warranty

To request warranty service, the customer must follow these steps:

  1. Initial Contact: The customer must contact the POS Store technical support team (via WhatsApp or email) to report the problem.
  2. Diagnosis: The support team will perform an initial remote diagnosis to try to resolve the issue. If it cannot be resolved, the return process will be authorized.
  3. Product Shipping: The product must be returned to the address provided by POS Store, in its original packaging (or one that provides equivalent protection) and including all original accessories.

Note: Shipping costs for the product to POS Store for warranty service may be the customer's responsibility. POS Store will cover the return shipping costs to the customer once the product has been repaired or replaced.

4. What is NOT covered by the warranty?

The POS Store warranty does not apply under the following circumstances:

  • Misuse or Accidental Damage: Damage caused by falls, blows, liquid spills, fire or any other accident.
  • Inadequate Environmental Conditions: Damage from exposure to extreme temperatures, excessive humidity, dust, or corrosive environments.
  • Unauthorized Intervention: Attempts to repair, modify or disassemble the product by personnel other than POS Store or authorized service centers.
  • Electrical Problems: Damage caused by voltage fluctuations, electrical discharges, use of non-original adapters or power cables.
  • Normal Wear and Tear: Aesthetic deterioration, scratches, wear and tear of consumables (such as paper, ink, batteries that exceed the initial warranty period) or the exhaustion of the normal useful life of the product.
  • Software and Configuration: Problems caused by third-party software, viruses, incorrect configuration, or data loss.

5. Limitation of Liability

POS Store's total liability for any warranty claim is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product, as stated in this policy. POS Store will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of revenue, loss of data, or the cost of temporary replacement equipment.
